Nazareth College Unveils Major Interfaith Initiative with Naming of Center, Dec. 7

ROCHESTER, NY (11/29/2011)(readMedia)-- WHAT: As Rochester's many faith communities begin their holiday celebrations, Nazareth College's commitment to interfaith studies in the Rochester community and beyond is being demonstrated with the announcement of a major gift to name the center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue. Nazareth President Daan Braveman will introduce the local philanthropists for whom the center will be named, along with a second large donation to fund the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) Chair of Interfaith Studies. Rochester's faith leaders will be present along with several leaders from IIIT and the Office of Interfaith and Community Alliances in Washington, D.C.
