New Art Makes Downtown Albany Entrance

ALBANY, NY (10/15/2009)(readMedia)-- Downtown Albany adds another new business to its collection with the opening of Modern Body Art, a tattoo shop targeted toward the 35+ year old executive. Located at 13 Howard Street in Albany, Modern Body Art will celebrate their opening with a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 11am.

The look of the shop itself may surprise those with a preconceived image in mind. "We designed the shop for our target customer, so among its aesthetics are beautiful Pergo floors, birch trim, striking wall textures and art, and each room features a flat screen television and wireless headphones so the client can enjoy a pleasant diversion while the tattoo is drawn," explains William Yager, shop owner. The tattoo art itself boasts of sophisticated design and is searchable from a computer library in the shop.
