New Jersey Resident Andrew Wu Honored at Thomas Jefferson University's Annual Awards Ceremony

PHILADELPHIA, PA (09/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Andrew Wu, PhD, DABR, DABMP, FAAPM, resident of Cherry Hill and Thomas Jefferson University's School of Health Professions (JSHP) faculty member, was recognized for his dedication to higher education at Jefferson's Annual Awards Ceremony in June.
Dr. Wu, Clinical Professor for Medical Dosimetry, Department of Radiologic sciences, received the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching, which recognizes outstanding faculty members for their performance in higher education. This honor is made possible on this and other university campuses by the generous support of the Lindback Foundation. The award was presented by Michael J. Vergare, MD, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Janice P. Burke, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, Dean of JSHP. "Dr. Wu is one of those rare individuals who is able to blend teaching and scholarship seamlessly. He is a passionate, dedicated educator who gives 100% of his attention to his students," remarked Dr. Vergare. "He is committed to students' learning and growth and encourages and mentors them to participate in scholarly activities and expects them to work at their highest potential."
