New Pirate's Plunge Raft Ride Under Construction at SplashDown Beach in Fishkill

FISHKILL, NY (06/05/2007)(readMedia)-- A new four story raft ride called Pirate's Plunge is under construction at SplashDown Beach , Fishkill NY. Steve Turk, waterpark owner said, "This exciting new ride is really two rides in one: a 180 foot drop slide and a serpentine double S over 400 foot slide." Pirate's Plunge, which is scheduled to open at the end of June, uses over 2,000 gallons of recycled water per minute. SplashDown Beach is now open weekends, and daily starting June 22, through July and August, is located on Route 9 in Fishkill, NY's Hudson Valley.
