New Webinar Series Equips Healthcare Employers and Workforce Developers with Tools for Growth

ALBANY, NY (04/21/2025) (readMedia)-- - The statewide Health Workforce Collaborative has launched a webinar series to provide healthcare employers, healthcare workforce developers and health educators with strategies and free resources to build and sustain a robust health workforce.

The next dates in the Discover & Learn series are:

  • Wednesday, April 23 - 2:00 pm
  • Wednesday, April 30 - 3:00 pm

The sessions are intended to be informal and engaging, with demonstrations, discussion and time for networking. Participants will be introduced to:

  • The Collaborative's free digital platform designed to support and connect healthcare employers, educators, workforce developers, career seekers, students, and workers
  • Partner-driven initiatives like the Institute for Career Advancement in Medicine (ICAM) and North Country Care Coordination Workforce Collaborative (NCWC)

"Our goal is to provide healthcare partners with immediate, applicable strategies to improve employee recruitment, engagement and retention," said Ashleigh McGowan, vice president of innovation and design.
