New York, NY. Student Receives Top Education Award

RIVERDALE, NY (05/20/2013)(readMedia)-- The College of Mount Saint Vincent is proud to announce Pamela Publik from New York, NY, has received the Patrick J. Broderick Memorial Award, given to an outstanding graduating student in teacher education.

A student in the Dual Childhood Teacher Education Program, Publik was chosen for this honor based on her strong academic performance and commitment to education. During her time at the College, Publik was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society for Education, the CMSV Players and FLOW, the performing arts club at the College. Faculty describe Publik as having "initiative, creativity and nurturing manner with students...who goes above and beyond to meet the needs of her students."

Publik received the award at the 101st Commencement on Saturday, May 18th , 2013 before an audience of students, faculty, administrators, trustees, parents and honored guests.
