From Northern State Parkway or Long Island Expressway
Take the Cross Island Parkway South. Proceed to Exit 26B North (Hempstead Ave./Belmont Park Racetrack). Proceed east on Hempstead Turnpike to the library.
From Southern State Parkway West
Take Exit 13 Central Ave. At the end of the ramp go straight onto Linden Blvd. Pass one flashing traffic light, at the next traffic light turn right onto Elmont Road. Continue approximately 1.5 miles to the fork in the road. Bear right onto School Road. Continue straight to Hempstead Turnpike. Turn right; continue east to 700 Hempstead Turnpike. The library will be on the left side of the road.
From New York City
Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Merge onto the Long Island Expressway (I- 495 E). Take the Cross Island Parkway South Exit 31S. Merge onto Hempstead Turnpike (NY 24) via Exit 26B toward Belmont Racetrack. Continue to 700 Hempstead Turnpike. The library will be on the left side of the road.
