Announces New Evening Hours at Jamestown Community Based Outpatient Clinic

ALBANY, NY (11/04/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Division of Veterans' Affairs is pleased to announce that its Veterans Benefits Counseling office, located at the Jamestown CBOC, 608 West Third Street, Jamestown, NY, has added evening hours, effective Wednesday November 4th. This change of hours will accommodate veterans and their families who have found it difficult to receive assistance during traditional work hours.

This office, staffed by State Veterans Counselor Bill Stroh, will now provide benefits counseling and advocacy for veterans and their families from 12 noon until 8:00 PM Wednesdays, in addition to the regularly scheduled hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, and the 1st and 3rd Thursday and Friday of the month.

"In order to better serve veterans and their families we have adjusted our Jamestown office hours. With the new evening hours, the Division will be able to accommodate those who need to access services after regular business hours. We want to provide sufficient access and services to ensure that the community is well served," said Jim McDonough, Director of Veterans' Affairs.
