New York's Air Quality to be Detailed in Lung Association Press Conference Call TODAY, April 27th

ALBANY, NY (04/27/2010)(readMedia)-- WHAT: Virtual press conference call today, Tuesday, April 27, previewing the findings from the American Lung Association's State of the Air 2010 report, which will be released on April 28, 2010 at 3 a.m. ET. Please note the report is embargoed until that time.

WHY: Now in its 11th year, State of the Air 2010 is the American Lung Association's annual report card on air quality, ranking cities most affected by three types of pollution: short-term particle pollution, year-round particle pollution and ozone pollution.

AGENDA: Speakers will introduce the report, share top-level findings and national trends, and discuss the health effects of ozone and particle pollution for New Yorkers. Questions will be answered at the conclusion of the call.
