Newington Price Chopper host Festivities for Connecticut Neighbors
SCHENECTADY, NY (04/13/2007)(readMedia)-- Mark your calendars -- on April 19th the Newington Price Chopper Supermarket is giving back to their Connecticut neighbors by hosting a fun day of celebrations. A variety of exciting store wide festivities is scheduled: the day kicks off at 8 a.m.-5 p.m. A farmers' market has been specifically designed for outside the store. The farmers' market will contain produce and bakery products at bargain prices. (The farmers' market will be open throughout the summer every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.) Plus there will be a summer patio and furniture sale.
Additionally, a wide variety of barbecue items and food sampling will take place through various specialty stations for all to enjoy! All children receive free press-on tattoos and balloons and can play on the Price Chopper bouncy bounce! (weather permitting) There will also be a meet and greet with Ernie, the Keebler Elf, Mr. Peanut (Planter) and Freddy Friehofer!
To celebrate the success of our gas program there will be free fuel giveaways! Customers can spin the wheel for prizes and enjoy a live radio remote from 96.5 WITC 11 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be secret sales along with several in store specials. Customers will also have a chance to win a random 60 second shopping spree at any point during the day!
