Thunder over Niagara Will Be Rescheduled for 2011

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, NY (02/25/2010)(readMedia)-- Thunder over Niagara airshow officials announced today the postponement of the 2010 air show scheduled for May 8 and 9.

The main aerial act, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds Demonstration Team was unable to fulfill its commitment due to a delay in the start of their show season. Additionally, other major jet teams were unavailable.

"After much deliberation, we have decided to focus our energy on planning an air show for late summer 2011, rather than continue with a scaled-down version in 2010", said Air Force Reserve Captain Benjamin Canetti , the Air Show Director.

Air show officials are seeking continued support from the Western New York and Ontario communities.

Canetti added; "Without it a successful air show will not be possible."
