CHESTERTOWN, MD (05/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Nina Sharp '13 of Centreville, MD, recently participated in the College's annual Senior Reading, sponsored by the Rose O'Neill Literary House. Sharp had been encouraged in her love of literature from an early age, but it is only recently that she has branched out from academic to creative writing, which she will present at the reading.
A graduate of Queen Anne's County High School, Sharp is a drama major and an English minor who received the Mary Martin Drama scholarship. She has been in several theatre productions, including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Washington College and Equus at the Church Hill Theatre, where she has interned. Sharp is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
