Northwest Nursing Division hosts pinning ceremony for graduates
The Northwest Mississippi Community College Division of Nursing held their pinning ceremony December 13, 2013 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven, celebrating 56 students' completion of the Associate of Arts in nursing. After a processional and invocation lead by Marsha Hopkins, class vice president from Southaven, Dean of Nursing, Ellen Williams, welcomed attendees, presented the faculty and introduced the keynote speaker for the evening, Dr. John Larry Black, emergency department physician, Team Health, who offered the address to the graduates. Williams awarded pins adorned with the Division of Nursing seal as Nursing instructor Olivia Russom presented each of the graduates to the crowd.
