Northwest student Rachel Strong named Student of the Month

SENATOBIA, MS (11/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Northwest Mississippi Community College music major Rachel Strong of Olive Branch was honored on Friday, Nov. 11 by the Senatobia Rotary Club as Student of the Month.
Saundra Bishop, a music instructor at the college, introduced Strong and commended her for her academic achievement.
"Rachel is a piano major, but she is also involved in multiple music ensembles, including the Northwest Singers, Wind Ensemble, Ranger Marching Band and Steel Drum Band," said Bishop. "Rachel also maintains a 4.0 grade point average."
