Deanna McCormick joins Notre Dame of Maryland University as Vice President for Finance and Administration

BALTIMORE, MD (09/18/2012)(readMedia)--  Notre Dame of Maryland University is naming Deanna S. McCormick as vice president for finance and administration. As chief financial administrator and a member of its senior leadership team, Ms. McCormick will spearhead the University's finance and investments, budget and financial reporting, human resources, information technology, facilities, purchasing, public safety and auxiliary services. She will join Notre Dame on October 1.

Ms. McCormick comes to Notre Dame with 24 years of progressive experience in higher education finance. For six years, she has served as vice president for business and finance at Clarke University in Dubuque, providing leadership in accounting, financial management, human resources, operations and related functions. Earlier positions include CFO and treasurer at Wabash College; vice president for finance and administration at Washtenaw Community College; and director of administration and finance at Ivy Tech Community College.

Ms. McCormick earned both her B.S. and M.B.A. from Indiana University. She is an active member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers.
