Oak Creek Resident Receives Scholarship to Mount Mary College

MILWAUKEE, WI (01/23/2013)(readMedia)-- (MILWAUKEE) Elizabeth Carrillo, daughter of Federico Carrillo and Angelica Almaraz, Oak Creek, WI, has been awarded the Transfer Scholarship to Mount Mary College for the 2012-2013 school year.

The Transfer Scholarship is a renewable award presented to students who have demonstrated a high level of school and/or community involvement, service, leadership or success outside of the classroom.

Elizabeth, a 2006 graduate of Riverside University High School, is a sophomore at Mount Mary College majoring in Nursing.

"We awarded Elizabeth a Transfer Scholarship based on her application, achievements, and outstanding potential. Mount Mary College, founded in 1913 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, was Wisconsin's first four-year, degree-granting Catholic college for women.
