Oglethorpe's Joshua Cammon named OU Male Athlete of the Week

Joshua Cammon of the Oglethorpe men's basketball team has been named the OU Male Athlete of the Week (Dec. 1-7). A junior Business Administration major, Cammon is from Covington, Ga. and a graduate of Tucker High School.

Cammon scored 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting in the Stormy Petrels' loss at Piedmont on Dec. 3, then added 9 points on 3-of-3 from beyond the arc in the team's SAA-opening loss to Berry on Dec. 7.

He and the rest of the Petrels will next be in action Dec. 20 and 21 from West Palm Beach, Fla. They'll take on Goucher and either Geneva or Merchant Marine at the Palm Beach Classic.
