BOURBONNAIS, IL (12/05/2013)(readMedia)-- On Sunday, December 8, 2013, Olivet Nazarene University kicker/punter Andrew Muzljakovich (senior, chemistry major, Vicksburg, Mich.) will play as one of 100 non-FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision) college football players in National Bowl Game. This is an annual post-season college football all-star game consisting of top players from non-FBS schools. The son of Dave and Suzanne Muzljakovich, he is a Vicksburg resident.

During his four-year career for the Tigers, Muzljakovich played in 44 games and finished tied fourth all-time in scoring. In his career, he was 41-of-64 (64.1%) on field goals and made 75 PATs. He also accumulated 4,924 punting yards (39.7 avg.) for his career - good for fourth on the Tigers' all-time list. He also had 159 kickoffs for 9,377 yards (59.0 avg.)

Players for Sunday's game in Florida are expected from as far as Oregon, Colorado and Texas. The collection of 100 will be separated into two teams. Muzljakovich will suit up for the Red Nation.

This year, the National Bowl will be head coached by award-winning and 18-year NFL veteran Coach Mike Stock, formerly of the Green Bay Packers. Another team will be headed by Coach Chris Thompson of the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, a veteran pro arena head coach with AFL experience.

The National Bowl is the only elite non-FBS post-season all-star game that draws scouts from several NFL teams, along with the CFL and arena leagues. The bowl rosters are unique in that they give the NFL, CFL and additional scouts a chance to view and get to know some of the best players from smaller schools.

During National Bowl weekend, players attend an "Athletes & Agents Conference," where NFL agents and sports insiders educate the players on the process of going pro. One of the featured panelists will be elite trainer Brian Martin of S3 Sports Performance, who has trained top NFL players such as Joe Flacco and Mark Sanchez.
