MILWAUKEE, WI (07/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Jesse Vogeler-Wunsch, daughter of Rae Vogeler and Michael Wunsch, was honored with the Phi Beta Kappa Zeta Scholar Award from Marquette University's Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences. Vogeler-Wunsch is pursuing a degree in physics.
The Zeta of Wisconsin chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most widely known academic honor society, has selected Jesse Vogeler-Wunsch as the recipient of its annual Zeta Scholar Award, which includes a certificate, a $100 honorarium and an invitation to the chapter's annual Initiation Banquet. The purpose of the award is to bring Phi Beta Kappa to the attention of undergraduates who will be eligible for membership as juniors and seniors.
Vogeler-Wunsch was selected for the award for being the academically highest ranked sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences based on grade point average and credits earned in liberal studies.
