WHEN: Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m.

WHERE: Trailhead on River Street in Oriskany.

WHAT: The Tramp & Trail Club of Utica will clean up its adopted section of trail from River Street to Mohawk Street in Whitesboro, cutting and clearing brush as needed.

WHY: As part of the annual celebration of Earth Day, volunteers from more than 90 organizations statewide team up with New York Parks and Trails, the New York State Canal Corporation and the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation to clean up and improve the lands around the Canal system which will reopen for navigation in the May.
