Owatonna Resident Selected As Student Speaker for Concordia University, St. Paul Commencement
ST. PAUL, MINN. (05/19/2009)(readMedia)-- Concordia University, St. Paul student Rita Pauling of Owatonna, Minn., gave the farewell address to her fellow graduates during the University's commencement ceremony May 16, 2009, at 10 a.m., in the Gangelhoff Center on the Concordia campus.
Pauling earned her bachelor of arts in Organizational Management and Leadership at Concordia University, St. Paul. She earned her associate in arts from Riverland Community College. Pauling is a Learning & Development Trainer at Federated Insurance where she has worked since 1990. She develops training material and delivers non-technical training on topics like teamwork, communications and time management. Pauling also has insurance designations of Associate in Customer Service (ACS) and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS). She has achieved her Competent Toastmaster (CTM) and Advanced Toastmaster (ATM) designations from Toastmaster, International.
