The Pennsylvania Turnpike has lifted the speed limit restriction only for the western part of the toll road between the Ohio border and the Blue Mountain Exit #201 effective immediately. That means
The 45 mph speed limit is still in effect from the Blue Mountain Interchange in Cumberland County eastward to the New Jersey line as well as the Northeastern Extension (I-476).
In addition, the Turnpike has also lifted the right-lane-only restriction for all commercial vehicles (trucks) between the Donegal Interchange (Exit 91) and the Blue Mountain Tunnel (milepost 200). However, that restriction still remains in place for eastern parts of the Turnpike from the Morgantown Interchange (Exit 298) east to the Delaware River Bridge (Exit 359) and on the Northeastern Extension (I-476) from Mid County (Exit 20) to Clarks Summit (Exit 131).
