ATLANTA, GA (06/28/2012)(readMedia)-- Justin Sabree, a psychology major, received the esteemed James Edward Oglethorpe Award at Oglethorpe University's commencement ceremony in May 2012. These awards are presented annually to the man and woman in the graduating class who, in the opinion of the faculty, have excelled in both scholarship and service.
While attending the university, Sabree was an Oglethorpe University Presidential Scholar, president of the senior class, and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology. In April, Sabree received the esteemed Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, Oglethorpe's inaugural presentation of the national honor.
