Philadelphia Resident Julia Feliciano Honored at Thomas Jefferson University's Annual Awards Ceremony

PHILADELPHIA, PA (09/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Julia R. Feliciano, a Drexel Hill resident and Thomas Jefferson University's School of Nursing (JSN) faculty member and alumna, was recognized for her exemplary service to the School of Nursing at Jefferson's Annual Awards Ceremony in June.

Ms. Feliciano, BSN '93, MSN, CRNA, Instructor and Program Director, Nurse Anesthesia Program at JSN, accepted the Alumni Emerging Leader Award as an alumna who, early in her career, has made significant contributions in research, leadership in professional organizations, community service or other professional accomplishments. "Julia was instrumental in the successful initial accreditation of the CRNA program," remarked presenter Mary G. Schaal, EdD, RN, JSN Professor and Founding Dean. "The accreditation is effective for ten years, a very unusual accomplishment for a new program."
