Gibbons, a Philadelphia resident and Thomas Jefferson University's School of Health Professions, Department of Physical Therapy alumna, was recognized for her exemplary service to the School of Health Professions at Jefferson's Annual Awards Ceremony in June.

Ms. Gibbons, MS '04, PT, Advanced Clinician I, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, accepted the Alumni Distinguished Service Award as a graduate who has made an exceptional contribution of time, resources and expertise to advance the mission of the School. "Meghan served as a leader while a student at Jefferson," remarked presenter Janice P. Burke, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, Dean. "Through her dedication to excellence, she helps students discover new knowledge through hands-on experience and investigation, while fostering an educational environment."
