ALBANY, NY (10/04/2024) (readMedia)-- Phoenix House President & CEO Ann-Marie Foster will serve as the keynote speaker at Friends of Recovery - New York's (FOR-NY) 2024 New York State Recovery Conference, its ninth annual convening which offers recovery advocacy workshops and educational and networking opportunities to community members. In 2022, 2.8 million New Yorkers had a substance use disorder, with treatment admissions reaching 47.2% in upstate New York, followed by 38.7% in New York City, and 14.1% on Long Island.
A seasoned and beloved healthcare leader in New York's Recovery Community, Ann-Marie will deliver a keynote speech around the theme of Building A Sustainable Recovery: Integrating Home, Work, and Wellness. The event will be hosted from October 6-8 at Crowne Plaza Albany - The Desmond Hotel, and the keynote will commence at 2:45pm on Monday, October 7th.
