Phoenix House to Celebrate Opening of Mental Health Center in Brentwood

The new center will directly address community members' mental health and substance use concerns, as Suffolk County continues to battle historic SUD and hospitalizations

BRENTWOOD, LONG ISLAND (04/04/2025) (readMedia)-- On Monday, April 7, Phoenix House of New York & Long Island will celebrate the opening of the new Brentwood Mental Health Center, inviting community members to join a ribbon cutting ceremony and luncheon. Phoenix House's Brentwood location will provide mental health outpatient treatment and rehabilitative services (MHOTRS) to individuals and families, offering evidence-based psychotherapy and pharmacological interventions to promote recovery.

In 2023, there were 5,956 Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) admissions throughout Suffolk County. Building on Phoenix House's preventative services through the Suffolk County Trainings in Overdose Prevention: An Outreach and Development Program (STOP OD), the Brentwood Mental Health Center will expand critical mental health services for community members throughout the county.
