NASHUA, N.H. (09/08/2011)(readMedia)-- Porsche owners are passionate about all things related to cars, so getting them together for a car show that benefits charity is an enticing concept for New Hampshire Porsche dealer Porsche of Nashua. The Nashua luxury car dealership is an active sponsor of charity events around New Hampshire and will hold its own charity car show, the Octoberfest Autoshow, on Sunday, October 2 to benefit Easter Seals New Hampshire
This year will mark the fourth annual Octoberfest Autoshow, which raised $5,000 for Easter Seals New Hampshire last year. Attendees will be able to check out classic and exotic cars while enjoying music, prizes, a silent auction and a BBQ provided by Brothers Butcher. Admission to the show is free, making it a family-friendly event. Vehicle awards will be given out for "best in class" and "people's choice."
"Easter Seals New Hampshire provides a vital service to New Hampshire's disabled residents," said Larry Bedell, general manager of Porsche of Nashua. "It's always a pleasure to find different ways to raise funds for this charity, and our Octoberfest Autoshow is one of my favorite events because it brings together fantastic cars and fantastic people for a great cause."

Easter Seals New Hampshire has been the charity of choice for Porsche of Nashua this summer, as the dealership sponsored the organization's 5th Annual Veterans Count Golf Tournament at Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, N.H. on August 23. Money from the golf tournament and the Octoberfest Autoshow goes towards helping New Hampshire's disabled and their families.
"We had a great turnout at our autoshow last year, and we're hoping to beat the $5,000 we raised then," Bedell noted. "We've learned from our past Octoberfest shows that local exotic car owners are passionate both about their models and about helping organizations like the Easter Seals, so I have high hopes that we can eclipse last year's mark."
While the car show will be outside, Porsche of Nashua's showroom itself is stocked with exotic machinery, including a 2011 Porsche Carrera Speedster, one of only 356 in existence. Also on display is a limited-edition 2012 Porsche 911 Black Edition and the all-new 2012 Cayman R.
