NASHUA, N.H. (09/11/2012)(readMedia)-- The team at New Hampshire Porsche dealership Porsche of Nashua is enthusiastic about great cars and helping its community, and its Octoberfest Auto Show has become an excellent way of combining both of those passions. Now in its fifth year, the charity car show will take place this fall on Sunday, Oct. 7, and benefit Easter Seals New Hampshire's Veterans Count Club-Nashua.
Last year, Porsche of Nashua's Octoberfest Auto Show raised more than $5,000 for Easter Seals New Hampshire, and the dealership is focusing on the charity again this year, this time directing funds to the Nashua chapter of the Veterans Count Club. Formed to ease the struggles of veterans and their families after the sacrifices they have made for the country, the Veterans Count Club provides them with financial assistance when they are in need of emergency services. Admission to the Octoberfest Auto Show is free, but public donations to the cause are welcome at the gate.
"The Octoberfest Auto Show is becoming a great fall tradition in our area, and we're thrilled that this year's event will support New Hampshire veterans, who have sacrificed so much so that we're all free to enjoy beautiful cars on a Sunday afternoon," said Larry Bedell, general manager of Porsche of Nashua. "We're hoping to beat our donation from last year so that the Veterans Count Club can continue to provide vital aid to service members and their families, whether it is with child care, food, medical attention or other assistance."
