Port Chester Student Receives College Medal in Business and Economics

RIVERDALE, NY (05/20/2013)(readMedia)-- The College of Mount Saint Vincent is proud to announce Jose Ariel Almejo has received the Business and Economics Medal, given to the graduating senior for academic excellence and demonstrated intellectual achievement. He received the medal during the 101st Baccalaureate Awards and Hooding Ceremony on Friday, May 17th 2013 before an audience of students, faculty, administrators, trustees, parents and honored guests.

Almejo is a computer technician, a graphic designer, and a music composer, fluent in Italian and Spanish who excelled in studying marketing and will graduate cum laude. He worked as a bank supervisor at TD Bank in Larchmont, where he oversaw four employees, constructed budget schedules, coached his staff to meet sales goals, and handled customer relations. Jose is now employed as a marketing assistant at the National Health Promotion Associates in New York.
