Price Chopper Grand Opening Celebration held in Colchester, VT

New 24 hour store to serve the community

Price Chopper Supermarkets, a 'family in business', parented by The Golub Corporation since 1932, celebrated the grand opening of a new store in Colchester this morning. The store, a former P&C, located at the corner of Porters Point and Prim roads, is a 20,000 sq. ft. facility that provides many services and offers to shoppers.

Neil Golub, President & CEO for Price Chopper, and Jerry Golub, EVP & COO were joined by other Price Chopper officials, Tony Pomerleau, Pomerleau Real Estate, Al Voegele, Town Manager, other Township officials to cut the "ceremonial" ribbon and officially open the store for business.

Store Manger, Matt Brady, and his team of one hundred full and part-time associates are ready to provide the residents of Colchester an enjoyable shopping experience, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The new Colchester store is now part of Price Chopper's Fuel AdvantEdge program which offers consumers savings on gasoline. "Fuel AdvantEdge" is an ongoing, cumulative savings/reward program that gives consumers a 10¢/gallon discount on gasoline purchases for every $50 of groceries purchased (20¢/gallon on $100 purchased, 30¢/gallon on $150 purchased, etc.).
