Price Chopper to Hold Preview Party/Grand Opening of New Store in Colonie NY
New State of the Art Store to Showcase US Green Building Council Design and Construction Elements While Offering an Expanded Variety of Fresh Signature Items and Kosher Foods
SCHENECTADY, NY (06/01/2009)(readMedia)-- WHAT: Preview party in advance of the grand opening of Price Chopper's newest supermarket in Colonie, NY. The 69,000 square foot store will be one of the nation's most environmentally friendly supermarkets - and only gold certified GreenChill store in the Northeast. The new store will also feature many new offerings including an expanded kosher food section that remains the largest of its kind between Monsey, NY and Montreal, Que.
Proceeds from the fundraising done at the event will be donated to The Jewish World newspaper and the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission.
One lucky shopper will win a drawing for a $250 Price Chopper gift certificate.
