CANTON, NY (11/23/2011)(readMedia)-- The New York Wind Education Collaborative will be holding a presentation about wind energy solutions at SUNY Canton.
Faculty and staff members from the College's alternative and renewable energy systems (ARES) program are scheduled to host the free forum at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, in the Richard W. Miller Campus Center's Kingston Theater. The event is open to SUNY Canton students and the public.
The presentation will include information and current statistics about New York's electric grid, an overview of the wind farm development process, and a look at the related economic and environmental issues.
