Ramp Chevrolet and Island Harvest Team Up To Fight Hunger On Long Island
Annual Fall Corvette & Camaro Show Hopes to Reap a Harvest of Food Donations to Help Feed Long Island's Hungry
PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY (09/09/2008)(readMedia)-- Visitors to this year's eagerly anticipated Corvette & Camaro show will not only enjoy a full day of free family-oriented fun but they will also have the chance to help their neighbor. During the show Ramp will also sponsor a food drive for Island Harvest. "This is our opportunity to help ensure that Island Harvest starts the Holiday season out with enough food so those less fortunate do not go hungry", states John Rampone, Dealer Principal of RAMP Chevrolet. It is Mr. Rampone's hope that everyone visiting the show will bring with them one or two non-perishable food items to help fill a trailer that will then be donated to Island Harvest.
The Annual Show had more than 1000 vistors last year and even more are expected to gather to this year's event which will feature the brand new 2009 ZR1 unveiled, ZR1 chassis display, Rampage Performance vehicles, Kook's, Pro Torque & Pro Charger trailer displays, as well as an apparel & accessory sale. Families can also enjoy judged car shows from both LICOA, the Long Island Corvette Owners Association and LICC, the Long Island Camaro Club, product displays, food, live music, giveaways, raffles & much more.
