RALEIGH, N.C. (12/12/2012)(readMedia)-- The CIAA named basketball player Regime McCombs (Fr./Greenville, S.C.) of Saint Augustine's University women's rookie of the week on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.
McCombs, a 5-6 guard, averaged 19 points on 48 percent field-goal shooting including 65 percent three-point shooting in two games this past weekend. She led the Lady Falcons in scoring both games including a career-high 23 points against Division I Winthrop University on Saturday and 15 points in an 81-70 victory over Claflin University on Friday, Dec. 7. McCombs made 11 of 17 three-pointers in two games combined.
