Reigning Rug Champs Hooked on Ribbons at Iowa State Fair Contest
DES MOINES, IA (08/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Altoona resident Sharon Townsend won Best of Show in the Fabric and Threads Hooked Rugs contest judged prior to the start of the 2010 Iowa State Fair. Ames' Marie Schropp won the prestigious Sweepstakes award.
Both women will receive a $15 cash prize and a ribbon.
All Fabric and Threads entries will remain on display throughout the Fair on the upper level of the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building sponsored by Principal Financial Group open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
