SPRINGFIELD, IL (11/21/2011)(readMedia)-- Lt. Col. Drew Dukett of Roodhouse and Staff Sgt. Kyle Combs of Atlanta, Ill., were presented with the Polish Army Medal (bronze) during a ceremony officially opening a photo exhibit entitled "The Polish Armed Forces in the International Security Assistance Force Mission in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan" November 15.The exhibit will be on display for two weeks.
Both Soldiers deployed with the Illinois National Guard's Bilateral Embedded Staff Team (BEST) A5 in 2010. Illinois National Guard Soldiers have co-deployed with Polish forces on every Polish rotation to Iraq and Afghanistan.
