It's our mission to take a holistic equity-focused approach in addressing our community's wellness needs.
Free services include Breast Cancer Screenings, Blood Pressure Tests, Workforce Development, Senior Care, Giveaways, DJ, & More!

About START:
START is a community-focused, Black-founded and BIPOC-operated organization that has been leading the way in delivering care for New Yorkers seeking support since 1969. We provide comprehensive, culturally-responsive, and compassionate care, tools, and resources for individuals, families, and communities. With a specialized focus on addiction recovery, mental health care, and biomedical research, we operate six community-based locations across New York and provide care for more than 4,000 clients each year.
