SUNY Delhi Announces Summer Swim Programs 2014

DELHI, NY (05/08/2014)(readMedia)-- The SUNY Delhi summer swim program for children and adults will begin June 30.

Water Aerobics Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays during the summer session 4:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. at a cost of $45 per person. Swim practice will be 12 noon - 1 p.m., lap swim 1 p.m.-1:30 p.m., and open swim 1:30-3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Community swimming lessons will be offered 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Kunsela Hall pool. Classes include American Red Cross Levels I-VI, Basic Water Rescue, infant/toddler/preschoolers program and a Level VI diving class. Swim team practice is also available.

To participate in Community Swimming Lessons, Delhi, Bovina, and Meredith residents should contact their village clerk to register for free enrollment. Hamden residents should contact their town or village clerk to register for one three-week session with a cost of $15 per child payable to the Hamden Town Clerk. Proof of residency will be required. Those who are not residents of Bovina, Delhi, Hamden or Meredith may participate at a cost of $45 per person, each session.

The pool daily use fee is $3 per child, $4 per senior and $5 per adult. Passes are available. Kunsela pool will be closed July 4.
