DELHI, NY (09/22/2009)(readMedia)-- In celebration of U.S. Constitution Day, SUNY Delhi is inviting its students to compete in an essay contest that will culminate in a panel discussion on the United States Constitution on Tuesday, September 29, in Evenden Tower, Room 104, at 7 p.m.
Featured panelists and their topics include:
• Dr. Terry Hamblin, Associate Professor, Liberal Arts and Sciences—"The Water's Edge: Congress, the Executive Branch, the Constitution, and the Conduct of American Foreign Relations."
• Dr. Penny Pardoe, Assistant Professor, Liberal Arts and Sciences—"Signing Statements, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution."
• Heather Schwartz, Instructor, Liberal Arts and Sciences—"A Superior, Paramount Law: The Constitution and the Origins of Judicial Review."
