SUNY Geneseo Student Michelle Geisler Performs in Light Opera

GENESEO, NY (12/04/2009)(readMedia)-- Michelle Geisler from Menands, N.Y. (12204), a junior at the State University of New York at Geneseo, recently played the role of Mabel in the college's production of the Gilbert and Sullivan light opera "The Pirates of Penzance." The whimsical tale of swashbuckling pirates has been a hit with audiences since it opened on Broadway in 1879.
