Sarah Nonaka Earns All-SCAC Honors

GEORGETOWN, TX (11/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Southwestern women's soccer placed six players on the All-SCAC team this season.

Claire Matthews, Paige Duggins, Hannah Neil, Chelsea Letzer and Sarah Nonaka all earned a spot on the Second Team All-SCAC with their play this season.

Nonaka, a goal keeper from Honolulu, Hawaii, set Southwestern records for most career saves and most career shutouts in her final season with the Pirates. Nonaka played in all 19 games this season and allowed 29 goals in 1384:49 minutes of action for a 1.88 goals against average. She posted 82 saves and a .739 save percentage.

Southwestern ended the year at 6-11-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the SCAC after falling to the University of Dallas in the SCAC Conference Semifinals.
