GEORGETOWN, TX (04/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Sarah Puffer of Porter, Texas received the 2011 First-Year Leadership Award from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The award was presented at the university's 13th Annual Student Leadership Banquet April 12.
Puffer is a member of Southwestern's cross country and track teams, and is involved with the student environmental group SEAK and the community garden.
