Savage Resident Kelsey Koch to Speak at Concordia University, St. Paul Commencement

ST. PAUL, MN (05/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Concordia University, St. Paul student Kelsey Koch of Savage, Minn. will give the farewell address to her fellow graduates during the university's traditional undergraduate commencement ceremony May 10, 2013 at the Gangelhoff Center. A graduate of Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Koch is graduating with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a 5-12 Math Teaching license and a minor in Environmental Science.

Koch became a part of the Concordia community after transferring to campus during her sophomore year, participating in the Christus Chorus, Tri Pi Math Club, CSP Ministry and the Student Alumni Council. She also served as a Resident Assistant and traveled to Nicaragua in January 2012 as part of a service trip. In the fall Koch will continue to pursue mathematics at Montana State University.
