Sculpture in the Streets Artists Arrive in Albany

ALBANY, NY (06/19/2009)(readMedia)-- Ten of the eleven artists chosen to participate in the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District's (BID) third annual Sculpture in the Streets public art exhibit will be in downtown Albany to kickoff the exhibit with the BID's Garden Party fundraising event. Brief biographical information on each artist is available in the accompanying attachment. The sculptures will be in their downtown Albany locations until April 2010. The Sculpture in the Streets program is sponsored by Kivort Steel of Waterford, with additional support by The Palace Theatre; The Times Union; Angelo's 677 Prime; Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP; The Beltrone Group, Omni Development Company, Inc.; Tri City Rentals/Massry Realty Partners, Albany Parking Authority & Joseph Carr Wines.
