Seattle native presents research at annual undergraduate conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (04/25/2012)(readMedia)-- Rachel Alexander of Seattle, Wash. recently presented a paper at the annual Whitman College Undergraduate Conference on Tuesday, April 10. Her presentation was titled "Mining and Protest in Intag, Ecuador."

Alexander, the daughter of Shelly Sundberg and Whit Alexander, is a 2009 graduate of Garfield High School. She is currently a junior politics-environmental studies major at Whitman.

The undergraduate conference is an annual opportunity for Whitman students to share their research and creative projects with the community. Presentations are given by students in all disciplines.
