Shana Wierchowski from Grand Island Participates in Undergraduate Research Conference

GENESEO, NY (12/30/2011)(readMedia)-- Shana Wierchowski, a senior from Grand Island, N.Y. (14072), was among eight SUNY Geneseo students participating in the Council of Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC) Undergraduate Research Conference recently in Keene New Hampshire.

Wierchowski, an anthropology major with a pre-med concentration, presented a project titled "Vocalization Patterns in Mantled Howler Monkeys." Her faculty mentor is Barbara Welker, assistant professor of anthropology.
