HOUGHTON, MI (12/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Alexandra Tateosian, a mechanical engineering major at Michigan Technological University and Shoreview native, recently returned from Australia, where she was studying at James Cook University. She has also received the National Distinction Scholarship from Michigan Tech, one of only 86 students from outside Michigan who were awarded the scholarship for 2012-13.
In Michigan Tech's Study Abroad program, students take university courses overseas and broaden their perspectives in several ways.
