Sparta Training Area Units to Host Open House

SPRINGFIELD, IL (03/31/2011)(readMedia)-- The Illinois National Guard invites media to attend the open house event at the Sparta Training Area in Sparta. Groups like the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve and family readiness groups will make presentations on the programs that benefit military families.

WHO:

• Soldiers of the 661st Engineer Company

• 661st and 662nd Fire Fighting Team based in Sparta

• Senior leadership from the Illinois National Guard
WHAT:

• Units at Sparta Training Area will host an open house.

• Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve and family readiness groups presentations

• Information on the role of the National Guard and the Sparta units in the community.
