State Enhances Services to Veterans, in Capital District

ALBANY, NY (11/10/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Division of Veterans' Affairs is pleased to announce staff realignments to better serve the needs of veterans and family members in the Capital District.

In an effort to be responsive to the needs of veterans and their families, the following state benefits counselor realignments have been made:

Empire State College, Saratoga NY: Mr. Paul Stote will staff the office located at the College. Mr. Stote will be available from Monday though Friday, and can be reached at 518-587-2100 X 2871.

Hudson NY: Ms. Melissa Hogan has been assigned to the Hudson Office on a full time basis, Monday through Friday. The Hudson Office is located at the County Office Building, 401 State Street, Hudson, NY. Ms. Hogan is also available by telephone at 518-828-9511.

Albany Stratton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Albany NY: Mr. Dan Yates and Mr. Larry Pisarski have been assigned full time to the Albany Stratton Veterans Affairs Medical Center located on 113 Holland Avenue, Room C323, Albany New York, both can be reached at 518-626-5680.

Troy/Schenectady NY: Mr. Bruce Pentland has been assigned to the Schenectady Division Office, 797 Broadway, Room 317, Schenectady NY on Monday and Tuesday and to the Rensselaer County Office, 1600 Seventh Avenue, Troy, NY location on Wednesday through Friday. To reach Mr. Pentland, call 518-377-2738 for Schenectady or 518-270-2761 for the Troy location.
